Hi friends and family! We imagine you aren't surprised to see we have gone out of our way to find something unique for our registry. In our modern world of mass produced mayhem, we were excited to find Emily, working from her studio on the Northside of Chicago, making custom, artful dinnerware. As you know and have probably tasted first-hand, cooking is a passion we share. We felt it would be wonderful to collaborate with an artist to create dishes and serve ware we can use everyday.
Consider this an invitation to a home-made dinner prepared by us and served on these beautiful, one-of a kind artisan pieces. Cheers!

I spent a morning with Vince and Kami designing their custom dinnerware with them. We came up with a variety of pieces that are related by their forms, but have a wide variety of colors and surfaces from the glazes. The pieces are made from durable stoneware and can put in the microwave and dishwasher. They are made to be used for years and years to come! I am excited that they will have a set of handmade custom dinnerware from this registry so they can enjoy their love of cooking and entertaining on another level.
At this moment, the samples of the pieces are still being worked on, so the images that are up right now are just "place holder" images. The real images will be posted as the pieces are fired. There will also be additional serving pieces added.
When all of the dishes are complete, I will personally deliver them, so there is no shipping charge! I will give Kami and Vince a complete list of pieces and pass along any personal messages to them the weekend of the reception. All of the sold pieces are updated regularly and the remaining pieces are shown by the inventory 'quantity' box. The online sales will go through Paypal. Please let me know if you have any questions. If you would like to send a check instead, please email me (emily@sodafired.com) so I can change the total number ordered, as well as provide you with an mailing address and total.
